The EFFS Board of Representatives is proud to announce the successful applicants for the EFFS Award for the best PhD Dissertation in Freshwater Sciences (2015-2016).

An international jury, composed of five members of the International Representatives of EFFS and EFYR, have evaluated the pre-selected dissertations, which had been transmitted by the National Societies. Three candidates have been selected for the prizes.

As you might know, the EuroRun project won the 1st EFYR call for research projects led by young researchers. The project is aimed at estimating CO2 fluxes from European running waters and represents the first coordinated European-wide study to examine fluvial CO2 fluxes.
